Bed and Breakfast - LAVINIUM
It is our Bed and Breakfast at the sea in Scalea, Calabria, completely remodeled in 2007, equipped with all of the best modern comforts, with an intimate atmosphere, rustic but chic, almost bohemian, to make one rediscover sensations of times long gone, in a panoramic position with a breathtaking view.
It is also possible to organize language courses and guided tours.

In this setting, in Scalea, you will participate in an intensive Italian, English, or German course, using the language in a constant and efficient way, from morning until night and you will quickly become aware of your progress in expressing yourself. Choose a period of one, two, three or more weeks from mid June until mid September(excluding the last two weeks of August), every day three hours.

The price of the apartment includes bed linens, cleaning of the apartment upon your arrival and your departure, electricity expenses.

Scalea has sandy or stony beaches, or reefs. There are fantastic bays in Diamante or Maratea and enchanting places to stay together intimately or with friends. Scalea is a real paradise for children; for adults it is an opportunity to not have to use the car, and to have all the shops within walking distance and to be able to enjoy a customized holiday in people-friendly surroundings.
Means of transport
By car
1,050 km of highway Milano-Bologna-Firenze-Roma-Napoli-Salerno exit Lago Negro nord. You can also travel in two stages, staying overnight in one of the hotels of the Holiday Inn chain at 80 Euros for a double room (after Bologna or Firenze). The round trip highway toll is around 80 Euros.
By train
From Milan at 19:50 to Scalea at 7:50 by direct night train. The cost of a round trip ticket in a sleeping berth for two is CHF 200.-, or by day in the "Red Arrow" in just four and a half hours.
By air
The cost of an Alitalia ticket from Milan Malpensa to Lamezia Terme (about one and a half hours from Scalea) is about 300 Euros. Round trip transfer organized by Lamezia Terme in Scalea is 80 Euros per person.
The cost of a ticket from Malpensa or Linate to Naples (about two and a half hours from Scalea) varies from 100 to 250 Euros. Round trip transfer organized from Naples to Scalea is 150 Euros per person.
Booking and cancellation
In order to organize everything in a serious and efficient way, we kindly ask you to inform us of your choice by the end of the month of April. The "Gabetti" agency asks for payment of the entire sum for the apartment, and in the case of your cancellation, by the end of the month of May; it commits to refunding the sum paid in advance by you. Should you cancel the apartment in the months of June, July, August and September, you will not be reimbursed for the sum paid in advance. However, you will be able to get a coupon, valid for one year, and use it or sell it to a third party.
